We were so excited to participate in Akron Central School Career Day! We met with a group of students interested in education. Director Wynne Klingel gave a talk about the history of the Limerick School and early education in Erie County and the Town of Newstead. Wendy Trout of Trout Design also gave a presentation and led a hands-on activity on calligraphy and early writing. Rummage Sale Time! We are now accepting donations for the rummage sale. February flew by! We had so much fun at the events we hosted in January and February. A big thank you to Linda Chaffee for all the hard work she put into the wine bottle painting class in January — especially on such a very cold day. The projects turned out beautifully! Thank you as well to all the families who joined us for our Valentine’s Craft Party in February. We had a wonderful time and are already planning for next year. Now bring on March! We will have one more class

We had lots of fun helping the library with the Light Up Akron celebration and enjoyed participating in the parade.
